Jet Fuel Review Takes CMA Pinnacle Award for 5th Consecutive Year

For the fifth time in a row, »ÆÉ«µçÓ°’s has earned recognition the with the Pinnacle Award. This year, the student-run magazine won third place in the "Best Literary Magazine” Overall Design category for Issue #25, its Spring 2023 edition.
Jet Fuel Review won the top award as the Literary Magazine of the Year in 2022, 2021, 2020, and 2019.
The journal features work by »ÆÉ«µçÓ° students and faculty as well as international artists, and includes fiction, nonfiction, poetry, interviews, book reviews, art and eBooks.
The high-octane literary journal staff includes students, alumni, and faculty. The editors include Selena Tomas, Lauren Lotarski, Samuel McFerron, Haley Leon, Jovaughn Williams, Harper Saglier, Alexandra Martinez, Alyssa Khuffash, Patricia Damocles, Stephanie Karas and Andrea Y. Rodriguez.
Dr. Simone Muench, professor of English Studies and director of Creative & Professional Writing, serves as the chief faculty advisor for the student magazine. Dr. Jackie K. White, professor emeritus, served as reader and consultant. Alumna Mary Egan is the founder of the magazine.
